Story Chunk 2Jessica sighed and leaned against the wall of the cave. Without light outside, it would be hard to find an exit. She placed a hand to her forehead; that feeling was coming on again, which meant someone was coming. She had to think fast, letting herself be taken would mean she wouldn’t have to worry about the sunlight anymore, but on the other hand she would no longer have self control. She bit her lip in thought and pushed off the wall to the center of the corridor just in time, she felt her body slowly turn to purple mist.  Voices echoed off of the walls as a boy and a young man made their way to her area.
